Up the real robber´s castle
 

Mezní Louka - Nad Soutěskami - Ptačí kámen - Vysoká Lípa - Šaunštejn (robber´s castle) - Small Pravčická gate - Mezní Louka

Starting point: Mezní Louka; you can arrive either by bus (from Děčín and through Hřensko), or by car (from Děčín and through Hřensko, or from Jetřichovice and through Vysoká Lípa).

Parking: A parking lot behind the hotel Mezní Louka (on the left side of the road to Mezná)

Timing: 3 hours (11 km)

Difficulty: An easy walk, leading mainly along the marked touristic trails; the only steep climbing is to the Small Pravčická gate and then up the ladders at Šaunštejn (you can skip climbing up the top rock)

Refresment: The hotel Lípa and the restaurant U Loupežáku in Vysoká Lípa, a hotel and the buffets in Mezní Louka
