Jetřichovice
Jetřichovice is one of the touristic centres of the National park Bohemian Switzerland. The village is surrounded by the deep woods of the virgin nature, full of the rock towns, castle and view points. If you are fond of sports you can enjoy many touristic and cyclist trails that lead to all the parts of the national park. Kinsky´family, the former owner of the mansion, let the viewpoints on the rock´s tops built so you can have a wonderful view of the surrounding from there. The Kinsky family had merit in the increase of the tourism in the region. On your walks do not forget to visit the romantic place Dolský mill found in the canyon of Kamenice river. While walking through the rock towns you can also visit the mountain cottage Na Tokáni and many other attractive places in the area.
Jetřichovice was found in connection with castle Falkenštejn that served as well as Šaunštejn at Vysoká Lípa as the protection of the business trail Czech road, connecting Bohemia with Saxony. Nowadays we can find many beautiful folk timbered houses here. The dominating feature of the village is the church of Jan Nepomucký from the end of the 18th century. The church services are held every Sunday only during summer, starting always at 8:00 a.m. In the village you can be accommodated in one of many cosy family pensions.
